Target is widely used by both large and small oil and gas companies. It is a unique tool for strategy and portfolio management, risk/volume benchmarking and competitor analysis. It is also a powerful tool for data mining and identification of exploration possibilities. Target UK and Target NORWAY have been developed through a systematic collection and analysis of all released exploration and appraisal well data in Norway and the UK; a total of over 5500 wells. Developed in association with the DTI and with the supportive assistance of the NPD, this system provides a seamless link across the median line and for all other areas of the UKCS and NOCS.
